Paddling To The Foxes In Georgian Bay

The natural beauty of coastal Georgian Bay has endless possibilities for making landscape photos. One of my favourite locations is just south of Killarney Provincial Park along the shores of Philip Edward Island. Dozens of smaller islands such as the The Foxes provide incredible, scenic diversity, making it a perfect destination for a 3-4 day adventure.

Canadian Photographer: Pamela Williams

This afternoon I was wandering around the Beaches Arts & Crafts Show in Toronto when I noticed some incredible black and white photography that looked very familiar. Two weeks earlier I saw the same photos at Yorkminster Park Gallery in an exhibit titled In the Midst of Angels by Canadian photographer Pamela Williams.

Rose Blanche Lighthouse: Revisiting Old Images

A friend of mine recently asked me why I posted an “old” photo on Facebook and if I heard the latest news about the Boston bombers. Confused, I answered no. Then he said “Do you know why you haven’t heard any news about the Boston bombers? Because nobody cares anymore!” The implication was why post photos of a place if you weren’t there recently.

Canon Professional Services

I recently applied to the Canon Professional Services (CPS) program and was approved at the Gold membership level for one year. I first learned about this program in a blog post by Ethan Meleg. I have to be honest, the Canon swag is what interested me at first. So what do you get as a Gold member to this program?

The Irish Light: A Book of Landscape Photographs

If you want to be inspired by some fantastic landscape photos of Ireland then have a look at the work of Peter Cox. He recently published his first book which contains his best photographs from the last seven years.

The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom YouTube channel is an excellent resource if you are upgrading from a previous version of Lightroom and want to get up to speed on the new features in Lightroom 4.
